Sending the First Message

Stumped on what to say when that cutie finally swipes right?

Here’s what you should do

1. Use correct spelling and grammar

Avoid netspeak, slang, poor grammar and the incorrect version of your/you’re.

2. Avoid Pickup Lines

They never work and you come off as disingenuous.

3. Introduce yourself

“Hi, my name is (your name)” should be the very first part of your message.

4. Cover common ground

If there is any common ground or shared interests between you too, that works as a great opener and reason why you’re messaging.

5. Personalize your message

Everyone can recognize a copy pasted message 100 miles away. Give it some thought.

6. Avoid discussing their attractiveness

You don’t want to come off as superficial PLUS if they’re a 10, they know.

7. Keep it short and sweet

Brevity is the key to wit.

Good Luck Out There.

Its important not to begin your online conversation with jokes because a girl and woman could not understand you humour. Just ask her more about herself about her interests and dreams.

Couldn’t agree more Jimmy! It would be like a stranger approaching you on the street telling you a joke before introducing themselves. You’d immediately become wary of anything they said after that. It’s always a lot easier to get someone comfortable if you get them talking about themselves.
