I Need Date Ideas For A Couple’s Date Night

Have your dates with your partner become monotonous? Are you feeling like you’re losing the romance in your relationship because of repetition? Are you looking to shake things up a bit. Well, I’ve got some great date ideas for you.

1. Schedule a Couple’s massage/Spa day

If you go in for massages (I don’t), a spa or massage day will be a perfect date for you and your partner. It’s relaxing and rejuvenating, or so I hear.

2. Plan a Double-date

Nothing says “this is a date” more than having other people be on the date with you. If you’re in a relationship and you spend a lot of time together, a double date is a great way to┬ábreak up the routine of dinners with just you two by adding in a couple you love spending time with. Or hate. You can go on double dates with people you hate, as long as their paying their half.

3. Date like a teenager/college student

Remember when you were young(er?) and you hardly had any money to go on fancy dates? What would you do with your boo/beau then? You’d figure out fun and cheap dates. Some of the best dates I went on when i was 19 included takeout, roaming around Virgin Records (RIP) and Barnes and Noble, people watching in Union Square and Washington Square park, and trying to sneak into extra movies after buying tickets for one. You don’t have to replicate that date, but go back to what made dates fun even when you were broke.

4. Dial up the fancy

You can go the opposite route and dial things up a notch. Get dressed to the nines, go to that event/place that you’ve always wanted to do, but wouldn’t normally do because of the cost. It can be going to a show, a play, a concert, the opera, ballet, or dinner at the nicest place you can find.

5. Recreate your first date/a meaningful date

If you’ve been feeling a bit removed from your romantic connection with your partner, nothing will help you reconnect more than going back to your roots. If your first date was less than romantic, go to a place that holds special significance to you and your partner.

There you have it, five ideas to break the monotony of your monogamous dates.

Good Luck Out There.
